Baby Shower Games

Having a baby shower? There’s nothing more fun and memorable then having great baby shower games at your baby shower. Baby shower games are a great way to make sure your baby shower stands out in everyone’s minds and will be one of your most memorable experiences during your pregnancy days.

Guess Mommy’s Tummy Size
(Materials Needed: string, yarn, and scissors)
Have each person in the room pull the string to the size that they believe would fit perfectly around the mother’s belly. Once everyone cuts their piece of string compare everyone’s string to mommy’s tummy. The woman that comes closest to the actual size wins a prize.

Make the Baby
(Materials Needed: baby magazines, scissors, tape, and paper)
Have the women at the party get into groups of 3 or 4 and give each team some baby magazines. Have the women cut out different pictures of babies and mix and match the different baby qualities until you have an entire baby. Once every group is done have the mother-to-be select a winning team and give them prizes.

Guess the Food
(Materials Needed: baby food, pens, paper, and spoons)
Take the labels off of all the different jars of baby food. Have all of the women taste test the various jars of baby food and have them write down what they think the food might be. The winner gets a prize.

Guess the Baby Picture
Ask for everyone’s baby pictures prior to the baby shower and make a collage out of them. Make the women attending the party guess which baby belongs to which party-goer.

Having a Baby
(Materials Needed: balloons)
Split the party guests up into two different teams and give each person a balloon. When the game starts the first person on each teams blow up their balloon as fast as they can and stuff it into their shirt. Once the first person finishes blowing up their balloon the second person on the team may start blowing up their balloon, then the third, fourth, fifth, ect. Once the last member of the team stuffs the balloon in their shirt the first person needs to “give birth” and pop their balloon, and then the second, third, ect. The first team to have all of it’s members “give birth” win the game.
